Tessa Arens: Herbalist

Tessa is a practicing herbalist. She resides on unceded land of the Ramaytuch Ohlone, also known as San Francisco.

Her herbal journey, although always a part of her, took shape in 2025 when she completed the Apprenticeship program at the Berkeley Herbal Center. After which she went on to Clinic Year 1 (2026).

Tessa currently works as a medicine maker at the Berkeley Herbal Center and sees clients. Tessa understands that navigating one’s own health can be difficult and confusing at times. She is here to help provide clarity and support for her clients. Tessa is open to supporting all health concerns, but has special interest in working with chronic illnesses, PMOS (formerly PCOS), acne, and gut related issues. She sees healing as a whole body process, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Tessa promises to stay open minded, meet her clients where they are at, and move with compassion.
